Unplug your WD My Book or risk losing your data

Western Digital malware code is erasing your data.

If you own a WD My Book live NAS, or a My Book Live Duo, you need to unplug it from the Internet, or better yet just unplug the power. Many users are reporting that their devices are rebooting on their own, and all data is gone.

Western Digital is reporting that the loss data is due to the result of malicious code and highly recommends disconnecting all My Book and My Book Duo from the Internet

Users on Western Digital's community forum are stating that in some case their folder structure is there, but no files are there, or only the folders that came by default.

As of now there is no fix for this issue or any way to recover your lost data.
